Job summary

Momentum Engineering, Inc. seeks an experienced Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support DoD and Intelligence Community programs.

The ISSO will protect classified information systems, ensure RMF compliance, and coordinate with system owners, engineers, and government stakeholders. Candidates must hold active TS/SCI with NSA Full Scope Polygraph, at least five years as ISSO on similar programs, and DoD IAM Level I certification.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Minimum of five years as ISSO on programs of similar scope.
  • Experience IA and cybersecurity operations.
  • Knowledge of RMF, NIST SPs, CNSS policies, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4 additional years of ISSO experience in lieu of degree.
  • DoD 8570 IAM Level I certification required.
  • Experience with RMF authorization and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as ISSO for assigned information systems and support ISSM in maintaining security posture.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, DoD, and IC security requirements.
  • Plan, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies across systems and projects.
  • Maintain security posture through monitoring, assessments, and compliance actions.
  • Monitor security controls and support incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation.
  • Conduct RMF-related risk assessments and authorization activities.
  • Evaluate security solutions to protect classified information.
  • Assist in security documentation and configuration management.
