Job summary

Agile Defense seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support FBI ISSO/ISSE program management in Washington, DC. The role emphasizes risk management, RMF, and federal cybersecurity compliance with stakeholder coordination to ensure proper categorization of FBI IT systems.

The ideal candidate holds a Top Secret clearance, relevant certifications, and hands-on experience with labor mapping, cost reporting, and audit readiness in a complex mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 5+ years federal cybersecurity compliance experience.
• One of listed certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain methodology to categorize FBI IT systems by classification, hosting, data types, and function.
• Ensure alignment with FIPS-199, NIST RMF, CNSS overlays, and FBI directives.
• Analyze systems for risk, security posture, and required ISSO/ISSE support.
• Document labor mapping, cost recovery reporting, and MSR inputs.
• Coordinate with leadership, COR, PM, and reviewers for transparency and defensibility.
• Support labor category alignment to system complexity and requirements.
