Job summary

KBR is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to safeguard DoD information systems within TRMC/ADTR and JMETC environments. You will lead security policy development, RMF implementation, and incident response, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability across Windows and Linux servers.

The role emphasizes STIGs, ePO/ACAS usage, and virtualization management, with collaboration across distributed teams to maintain secure, compliant systems in a DoD setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• DoD environment experience and active TS/SCI clearance preferred and relevant certifications are a plus.
• Strong background in Windows and Linux server management, AD, STIGs, and virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
• Monitor security alerts and logs; respond to incidents per DoD regulations.
• Manage Privileged Access Management (PAM) and SIEM reporting.
• Collaborate with distributed team to plan enhancements and maintain RMF compliance.
