Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to lead RMF activities and provide cybersecurity expertise for DoD systems within the TRMC. This role is primarily remote and requires occasional in-person work at DoD installation spaces for meetings.

The ISSM will liaison between end users, developers, and senior DoD leadership, guiding system authorization and security posture across distributed teams and programs. A TS/SCI clearance and solid RMF experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or 8 years IT field experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with RMF process and security controls.
• NIST SP 800-53 familiarity and cybersecurity knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Deliver RMF artifacts and executive-level briefings.
• Review RMF packages and ensure ATO readiness.
• Coordinate with SISO, PM, and AO on remediation and risk mitigation.
• Interface with DoD leadership and the TRMC team on security program delivery.
• Travel 25% of the time as required.
