Job summary

Centuria is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to support Hanscom AFB on the BLITS 3.0 program. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, Security+ certification, and extensive DoD cybersecurity experience.

The ISSO will ensure RMF/ICD 503 compliance, manage JWICS security controls, and coordinate with the Site ISSM to sustain ATO and top security posture across SCI networks. A strong background with Air Force directives is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/IT or equivalent.
• 10 years’ DoD or Federal cybersecurity experience; 4 years may substitute for degree.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD and Federal Cybersecurity Directives.
• Active Top-Secret clearance and Security+ certification.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to ensure upgrade, expansion, and integration of Hanscom JWICS SCI architecture and infrastructure.
• Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures for protection of computer networks and information.
• Administer Active Directory user and computer accounts, security groups, and access permissions.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate system administration and reporting tasks.
• Image, deploy, and re-image USAF JWICS desktops and laptops per Air Force and DoD standards.
• Issue, manage, and troubleshoot PKI certificates and related authentication services.
• Perform Windows 11 desktop administration and basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, authentication).
• Ensure security controls to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure.
• Respond to computer security breaches and viruses.
• Coordinate with Hanscom JWICS ISSM to maintain ATO and high security posture.
• Operate and maintain JWICS LAN IAW ICD 503 and directives for SCI Facilities.
