American Operations Corporation is seeking an Information Security Systems Officer to support the Hanscom Air Force Base IA program. The ISSO will develop, implement, oversee, and maintain the organization’s IA program across AF guidance and specialized publications.

The position requires a Secret clearance with TS preferred and CISSP certification. The role includes supervising IA activities, ensuring proper access controls, maintaining C&A documentation, and enforcing annual IA refresher

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or equivalent; an additional four years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Six years of experience with cybersecurity practices within the DoD or another Federal agency.
• Strong knowledge of Air Force, DoD, and applicable Federal cybersecurity directives and instructions.

• Develop, implement, oversee, and maintain the IA program, including requirements, personnel, processes, and procedures.
• Supervise the IA program and enforce Air Force IA policies and procedures.
• Ensure users have required security clearances and training before access to Air Force information systems.
