Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a motivated Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in Chantilly, VA. You will implement security policies and support DoD-compliant RMF processes in both in-house and customer environments.

Responsibilities include preparing SSPs, RARs, SCTMs and A&A artifacts; performing risk assessments; and conducting scans with Nessus and SCAP tools. Strong analytical skills and TS/SCI eligibility are required or expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 5+ years in cybersecurity/IT.
• DoD 8570/8140 Compliant, IAT Level III within 6 months of hire.
• Experience with RMF, JSIG or similar frameworks.
• Ability to obtain/maintain TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures network nodes are operated, maintained, and disposed of in accordance with security policies.
• Perform ISSO duties for in-house and external customers; serve as alternate ISSM.
• Cyber security paperwork (compliance) and Information Assurance controls.
• Develop documentation; apply standards and security controls to classified environments per ICD 503.
• Utilize RMF methods including JSIG, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-53/171, DoD-NISPOM.
• Assist in preparing SSPs, RARs, SCTM and A&A artifacts.
• Learn and conduct independent scans with Nessus, DISA STIGS, SCAP.
