Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cloud Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team in Washington, D.C., Chantilly, VA or Quantico, VA. You will oversee day-to-day security operations for FBI IS, perform risk-based monitoring, coordinate vulnerabilities and POAMs, ensure ATO status, and work with system owners and ISSM to safeguard assets.

This role requires TS clearance eligibility and familiarity with security tools like Nessus, Security Center,

Qualifications

• At least seven years' experience as an ISSO or similar role at a cleared facility.
• Eight years’ IT experience with a bachelor’s, 6 years with a master’s, 10 years with an associate’s, or 12 years with a high school diploma.
• Current DoD 8140 certification.
• Familiarity with security tools including Nessus, Security Center, Guardium, WebInspect, and NMAP.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day implementation, oversight, and maintenance of security controls for each IS.
• Provide liaison between system owner and IS security personnel.
• Ensure controls are implemented and documented across the IS lifecycle and maintain security documentation.
• Conduct required vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation actions.
• Develop POAMs and manage risks to FBI assets, coordinating corrective actions.
• Monitor FBI IS security controls to maintain ATO and upload evidence to the GRC system.
• Report changes affecting authorization status to the system owner, ISSM, and oversee decommissioning when required.
