Job summary

UIC Government Services and the Bowhead Family of Companies seeks an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) – Cloud Security Specialist (NAUT) in Arlington, VA to ensure security compliance, manage RMF processes, and maintain DoD cloud security posture.

Responsibilities include implementing NIST 800-53 controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, coordinating with Authorizing Officials, and overseeing continuous monitoring and incident response for cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent with 16+ years security exp.
• DoD cloud security experience and enterprise DoD security background required.
• Knowledge of NISPOM and ICDs; FedRAMP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain security controls per NIST 800-53 and DoD standards for cloud systems
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses on cloud infrastructure
• Manage security documentation and continuous monitoring reporting
• Coordinate with Authorizing Officials for RMF processes
• Monitor incidents and coordinate cloud security responses
