Job summary

HoogaNet in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks an experienced Information System Security Officer (ISSO) at mid-senior level to support ISSM in maintaining security posture across classified environments. You will implement DoD-aligned security controls, update RMF artifacts, and coordinate ATO processes.

The role requires 10+ years of ISSO/ISSM/ISSE experience, a technical Bachelor’s degree, and an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph.

10+ years of ISSO/ISSM/ISSE experience.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

Support the ISSM in maintaining the security posture of systems, programs, and enclaves supporting classified environments.
Implement and enforce DoD/ODNI security policies, standards, and RMF methodologies.
Develop and update System Security Plans (SSPs) and authorization packages.
Evaluate security controls to ensure compliance for processing classified information.
Manage security-related configuration management and assess security impact of changes.
Maintain inventories of information system components and upgrades.
Perform day-to-day security operations including user administration and monitoring.
Support ATO activities and continuous monitoring by coordinating remediation of findings.
Plan and support information assurance and cybersecurity programs to ensure ongoing compliance.
