Job summary

Kinsley Power Systems seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Officer to provide onsite cybersecurity support for MPCO information systems in the Tampa area, including RMF activities, vulnerability management, and security documentation.

The role requires extensive DoD experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple MPCO divisions to drive secure, compliant operations and innovative improvements for mission support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of related work experience.
• Minimum of six years of DoW component support experience.
• Minimum of three years as a staff action officer (DoW/Joint Staff or equivalent).
• Experience with military system security, coalition operations, and multi-level security.
• Experience with RMF, system authorization, vulnerability management, malware protection, and security assessments.
• Good verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite ISSO support to MPCO ISSMs where MPCO Information Systems are located.
• Assist the MPCO in coordinating cybersecurity processes and activities (RMF, system authorization, incident handling, lifecycle management, vulnerability management, CSSP).
• Work with Cyberspace Capabilities Branch to propose iterative innovations and cost/benefit analyses for initiatives.
• Support and document cybersecurity assessments and system authorization per DoD guidance.

Education

MA/MS (or BA/BS plus 8 years related experience)
