Job summary

Spear AI in Washington, DC is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer to provide senior-level cybersecurity leadership. You will manage the Risk Management Framework process, enforce security policies, and oversee security events affecting classified systems.

This role requires expertise in NIST standards and the ability to mentor security staff within a collaborative environment that supports national security initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI required; must be able to obtain a Polygraph.
• Expertise in NIST RMF and security policy.
• Experience with multi-system programs in classified environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior security authority for all program information systems.
• Lead and manage the Risk Management Framework process.
• Develop and enforce information security policies and standards.

Skills

Active TS/SCI

Deep expertise in NIST RMF, ICD 503, CNSSI 1253

Demonstrated experience achieving ATOs

Strong background in security architecture

Experience leading security teams

Education

Professional certifications: CISSP, CISM, CAP, or CASP+

DoW 8570/8140 IAM Level III compliance
