Job summary

Kaizen Approach is seeking an Information Security Manager (ISSM) to lead the program's information assurance effort, enforce policies, and oversee the security posture of information systems, including policy development, risk management, and RMF compliance.

The role requires DoD 8570 IAM III, Active TS/SCI with Polygraph, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with Maryland-based on-site work and coordination with engineers, government customers, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or IT Engineering, or 4 years of related experience.
• DoD 8570 IAM III compliance required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Extensive experience with risk assessment and information assurance.
• Experience coordinating security policy implementation and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day security operations and RMF activities.
• Prepare System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, and A&A packages.
• Coordinate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure security controls.
• Assess impacts of system changes and maintain accreditation.
