Job summary

JFL Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in Springfield, VA to oversee RMF lifecycle and security posture for DoD programs. You will direct security authorization activities and work with AOs, SCAs, and project teams to maintain continuous ATO across enterprise systems.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance, 8–10+ years of senior experience, and a strong background in RMF, eMASS, Xacta, and DoD cybersecurity guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a cybersecurity/IT field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in cybersecurity with leadership in RMF lifecycle management.
• DoD RMF knowledge and experience with authorization packages.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RMF lifecycle and authorization packages across systems.
• Lead governance, policy updates, and security posture in DoD environments.
• Direct ISSOs/ISSEs; mentor security personnel.
• Coordinate with AOs, SCAs, and program leadership on security activities.
• Ensure treatment of classified information meets DoD requirements.
