Job summary

CTC Group is seeking Information Systems Security Engineers (ISSE) to support mission-critical cybersecurity infrastructure. You will design, secure, and assess complex computing environments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop practical mitigation strategies with Government customers.

Locations include Annapolis Junction and Ft. Meade. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and CISSP certification are required, with extensive level-2/3 qualifications in ISSE depth for seniority.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a security engineering representative on teams designing, developing, implementing, and integrating secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Help design and integrate Information Assurance (IA) architectures, systems, and security components.
• Provide security engineering leadership throughout system design, development, implementation, evaluation, and integration.
• Apply IA policies, procedures, and security best practices to develop secure and resilient computing environments.
• Collaborate directly with Government customers, engineers, architects, and other technical team members.
• Evaluate system architectures and recommend security solutions that meet mission and operational requirements.
• Support the design and implementation of trusted relationships between interconnected systems and architectures.
• Conduct security planning, technical assessments, risk analysis, and risk management activities.
• Identify security requirements for protecting and properly handling Government data.
• Assess vulnerabilities and security risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies.
• Design secure systems and networks spanning multiple enclaves and differing data protection or classification requirements.
• Develop system-level solutions to address complex security requirements.
• Help ensure security is incorporated throughout the system engineering and development lifecycle
