Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Our dynamic team delivers information security solutions that facilitate secure data flows and the detection/prevention of unauthorized behaviors, performs system security vulnerability assessments and solution development, and provides enterprise-level network, server, desktop, and application security services.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/Info Assurance or related field; 11 years ISSE total if no degree.
• 7+ years ISSE experience required.
• Active CASP+/SecurityX or CISSP certification.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Ability to perform system administration and security planning.
• Ability to accommodate shift work including weekend support.

Responsibilities

• Provide information assurance and system administration services to internal and external customers.
• Perform security vulnerability assessments and develop security solutions.
• Support enterprise-level network, server, desktop, and application security.
• Design system/network enclaves across multiple data protection requirements.
