Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) SME in the Intel Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area to design, develop, and implement secure information systems supporting mission operations.

The role collaborates with ISSMs, developers, and government stakeholders to integrate security controls, perform vulnerability assessments, and ensure DevSecOps alignment throughout the system lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting routine vulnerability scanning and reporting.
• Experience monitoring system and network security with SIEM tools.
• Experience auditing systems for secure configuration baselines and policies.

Responsibilities

• Apply system security engineering principles in design and lifecycle.
• Support vulnerability assessments and remediation.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel and mitigation strategies.
• Identify vulnerabilities and regulatory non-compliance.
• Run vulnerability scans and review remediation progress with DevSecOps.
• Install and maintain security tools in DevSecOps pipelines.
• Support RMF authorization and manage POA&Ms for customer systems.
