Peraton seeks a Senior Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to support the Vulnerability Remediation Team (VRT) for Federal Strategic Cyber programs. Based in Washington, DC, you will lead RMF lifecycle activities, classify systems, and advise on security controls.

You will guide risk analysis, incident response, and audit support while mentoring security professionals. You will coordinate with DOJ/IC data calls, develop executive-level reports, and drive process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience in secure design, analysis, and test of information security systems and products.
• Must meet DoD 8140.03 Advanced proficiency aligned to Security Architect (Work Role 652) or Security Control Assessor (Work Role 612).
• Must have a CISSP or CEH and 1 of the following certifications: CCNP Enterprise, CISM, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GDSA, GICSP OR Advanced degree listed (Doctorate/Masters).
• Active TS/SCI security clearance is required with the ability to obtain a polygraph.

• Identify, track and remediate vulnerabilities within customer information systems.
• Support responses to DOJ and IC data calls.
• Support RFIs, executive reports, and process improvements.
• Lead and supervise a team of security professionals for RMF lifecycle implementations.
• Oversee Prepare step activities with defined roles and risk strategies.
• Guide system categorization to meet mission/business impact and regulatory requirements.
• Advise on security controls aligned with categorizations, risk appetite, and compliance.
• Oversee implementation of controls throughout lifecycles with quality deliverables.
• Ensure security control assessments are planned, executed, and documented.
