Job summary

HRUCKUS is seeking an experienced Information Systems Security Engineer to design, develop, implement, and integrate DoD IA architectures for computing, network, and enclave environments. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification, with a strong background in networking, cloud security, and DevSecOps.

The ISSE will perform security engineering across the SDLC, align security with NIST RMF, evaluate tools, and enhance threat detection.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required; DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level III certification.
• BS degree in IT or related field; strong DoD/security background.
• Experience with RMF, STIGs, NIST and secure SDLC processes.
• Hands-on with Nessus, ACAS, Qualys, CyberArk, Splunk, and virtualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain DoD IA architectures for compute, network, and enclave environments.
• Perform security engineering across the SDLC; support accreditation and RMF.
• Implement vulnerability management; utilize Nessus, ACAS, and Qualys.
• Secure Windows/Linux servers, cloud, virtualization, and containers.
• Analyze logs and conduct incident response; support forensic investigations.
• Develop automation with PowerShell, Python, Bash; enable remediation and reporting.
• Collaborate with admins, engineers, ISSOs on secure baselines and changes.
• Produce security documentation, SOPs, and risk assessments.
• Manage CyberArk components (EPV, PVWA, CPM, PSM) and monitor cyber events.
