Job summary

Agile Defense in Huntsville, AL is seeking an experienced Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) Senior to support FBI program management. The ISSE will lead security engineering activities to categorize FBI IT systems based on architecture, hosting, risk, and mission requirements.

Candidates must hold TS with SCI eligibility, 8+ years of relevant work, a suitable certification, and a Bachelor's degree in information security or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience (or equivalent) in information security or engineering.
• One of the following certifications: CCISO, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, CPTE, CySA+, FITSP-A, GCSA, GSLC, or GSNA

Responsibilities

• Support design and maintenance of FBI IT systems categorization methodology.
• Assess architecture, interfaces, hosting models, and control implications.
• Analyze traditional, hybrid, and cloud-based systems for security requirements.
• Translate technical attributes into labor mapping recommendations.
• Document system assignments, rationale, and support models.
• Assist with RMF and system security engineering activities.
