Agile Defense, Inc. seeks a senior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support FBI missions under Objective 2: ISSO/ISSE Program Management.

The ISSE will help categorize FBI IT systems by architecture, security posture, and hosting environment, aligning labor mapping with staffing models. The role requires design analysis, RMF work, and collaboration with ISSOs, program leadership, and system owners to ensure scalable, compliant security categorizations across on-premises, cloud, and

Qualifikationen

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Experience assessing complex systems for security architecture, control implementation, and risk categorization.
• Strong knowledge of FIPS-199, NIST SP 800-37, SP 800-53, CNSS 1253, RMF principles.

Aufgaben

• Support categorization of FBI IT systems based on architecture, hosting, and data sensitivity.
• Assist with RMF and system security engineering activities.
• Develop labor mapping recommendations aligned to ITSSS categories and seniority levels.
• Collaborate with ISSOs, system owners, and leadership to ensure compliant categorization.
• Contribute to documentation for system assignments and support models.
• Support cost recovery efforts through labor alignment with reporting.
