Job summary

Crete Carrier Corporation seeks an experienced IT professional to oversee the development and implementation of iSeries applications. You will resolve complex issues, code, test, and maintain systems, while mentoring peers and guiding new technologies.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or substantial related experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured environment. Standard Monday–Friday schedule with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8–10 years related experience.
• Knowledge of RPG, RPG-ILE, SQL, CL, and DB2 is required.
• Experience with iSeries AS400 development and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Plans, codes, tests, modifies, and implements applications and systems.
• Prepares specifications and performs programming, testing, conversion, and implementation planning.
• Codes in languages and platforms per program specifications.
• Analyzes existing programs and recommends changes to development, maintenance, or standards.
• Designs complex functionality and provides multifaceted solutions.
• Documents requirements to translate into technical specifications.
• Develops testing plans to ensure functionality.
• Mentors teammates on assignments and new technologies.
• Administers training for users during system implementations as needed.
• Receives and carries out instructions.
• Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
