Job summary

Jordan's Furniture is seeking a Senior IS Services Technician to provide advanced technical support for employees across our company information systems. Based at our Taunton distribution center, you will troubleshoot, escalate, configure equipment, install software, and document processes to keep teams connected, productive, and supported.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in technical support or a similar role.
• Industry standard certifications are preferred but not required.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Must read and communicate effectively in English.
• May be required to drive to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve advanced levels of technical support requests promptly.
• Provide second-level escalation support to resolve more complex problems.
• Log hardware and software issues and resolutions in the IS Services database.
• Create and update documentation for IS Services procedures.
• Repair and configure equipment and install software as directed.
• Maintain knowledge of company software applications.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Are you an experienced technical support professional who enjoys solving problems and keeping systems running smoothly? Jordan’s is seeking a Senior IS Services Technician to provide advanced technical support for employees across our company information systems. In this role, you’ll be a trusted resource for troubleshooting, escalation support, equipment configuration, software installation, and process documentation, helping our teams stay connected, productive, and supported. This position is based at our Taunton, MA distribution center. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pay Range: $26.50 to $33.50 per hour
We share our pay range because transparency matters. This reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role based on experience and performance.

What we trust you to do:

• Responds to and completes employee requests for advanced levels of technical assistance in a timely manner
• Provides second-level escalation support to resolve more advanced problems
• Enters hardware and software problem and resolutions into the IS Services database Monitors and addresses open IS Services tickets daily
• Creates new and modifies documentation for IS Services procedures for the IS Services Resolution Database
• Repairs and configures equipment and installs software as directed
• Maintains a sufficient understanding of the commercial and custom written software applications used in the company
• Any other function or responsibility as assigned by the Supervisor

What you bring to the table:

• 3-5 years prior experience in the same or similar capacity
• Industry standard certifications are preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English
• May be required to drive to other locations to perform work duties
