Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of IP networking and infrastructure support experience, with at least 4 years in reliability-focused roles.
• Expert knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS) and transport protocols (TCP, UDP, ICMP).

Responsibilities

• Design and validate Layer 3 network topologies, addressing schemes, and route policies.
• Lead troubleshooting of routing issues involving BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and multicast.
• Monitor network health using telemetry, SNMP, and flow-based tools; respond to anomalies.
• Automate recurring network tasks (provisioning, config backups, audits) using Python, Ansible, or other tools.
• Collaborate with IP architects and security teams to align on policies, segmentation, and access control.
• Participate in capacity planning, traffic analysis, and latency optimization efforts.
• Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and SOPs for internal use.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
