Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in San Antonio is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, deploy, operate, and troubleshoot mission-critical IP/MPLS and security infrastructures. You will work with Nokia hardware, NSP environments, and Palo Alto platforms to ensure high availability and secure networks.

You will contribute to architecture, migrations, and automation efforts, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on IP/MPLS networking experience.
• Strong routing protocol knowledge: IS-IS, OSPF, and BGP.
• Experience with MPLS technologies (MPLS-TE, MPLS-TP, SR).
• Hands-on with Nokia devices and NSP environments.
• Knowledge of security principles and Palo Alto firewalls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support IP/MPLS network infrastructure for high availability.
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols and MPLS.
• Deploy and manage Nokia devices and NSP environments.
• Operate Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama; perform security optimizations.
• Develop documentation, HLDs/LLDs, and runbooks; collaborate on IaC projects.
