Job summary

J T is seeking a midlevel or senior IP litigation associate to represent clients in patent disputes involving technologies such as electronic devices, semiconductors, integrated circuits, and mechanical devices. Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Approximately four or more years of patent litigation experience.
• Experience with district court patent litigation; PTAB or International Trade Commission (ITC) experience is a plus.
• Must currently be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction where applying.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing patents and preparing invalidity and infringement contentions.
• Developing case strategy and working with technical experts.
• Drafting briefs and other substantive filings, managing discovery, and preparing witnesses.
• Taking and defending depositions and contributing to hearings and trial preparation.
• Working directly with clients and collaborating with colleagues across offices.
