Job summary

J&T Business Consulting seeks a midlevel to senior Intellectual Property litigation associate to represent clients in patent disputes involving electronic devices, semiconductors, integrated circuits, and mechanical devices. The role offers opportunities in federal district courts, the ITC, and before the PTAB.

Qualifications

• Approximately four or more years of patent litigation experience, with strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Must currently be licensed, or eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction where applying.
• Experience with district court patent litigation; PTAB or ITC experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing patents and preparing invalidity and infringement contentions.
• Developing case strategy and working with technical experts.
• Drafting briefs and other substantive filings, managing discovery, and preparing witnesses.
• Taking and defending depositions and contributing to hearings and trial preparation.
• Working directly with clients and collaborating with colleagues across offices.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
