Job summary

Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast in Renton, WA are seeking a Senior Attorney to lead outbound licensing for digital games and manage a small legal team. The role supports first-party studios and reports to the VP of Legal for Wizards of the Coast.

The position requires onsite work three days per week (Tue–Thu) at the Renton office, with broad oversight of licensing, regulatory, and IP matters across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant legal experience, including independent ownership of complex licensing projects.
• In-house experience at a game developer, publisher, or platform preferred.
• Working knowledge of the video game regulatory landscape.
• Experience supervising attorneys, paralegals, or other legal professionals, including allocating work and reviewing output.
• Ability to deliver great work while collaborating in a creative industry.

Responsibilities

• Structure and negotiate agreements across outbound licensing for digital games, co-development, work-for-hire, publishing, and external development.
• Advise studio leadership on product development, talent agreements, monetization, creator programs, regulation, and consumer protection.
• Partner with brand teams, internal and external counsel, marketing, privacy, finance, and business development.
