Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years in intellectual property law with focus on patent prosecution.
• 2+ years in-house counsel preferred with IP transactions experience.
• Technical background in medical devices or related field; RHIC eligibility.
• Admitted to USPTO; ability to manage IP opportunities and risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage active patent portfolio and prosecution strategy.
• Support IP-related transactions (NDAs, collaborations, licensing).
• Assist with strategic deals including due diligence for M&A and investments.
• Provide IP support for litigation, trademark, and trade secret protection.
• Collaborate with engineers and executives to translate tech into IP protection.
