Qualifications

• 8 to 12+ years of employment legal experience with progression into senior or leadership roles.
• Expertise in federal employment law and multi-state regulations; deep knowledge of CA or GA employment law.
• Proven ability to lead and support complex investigations.
• Ability to influence senior/executive stakeholders with business-focused legal judgment.
• Excellent legal research and writing; strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated integrity and a culture of compliance.
• Proven ability to build and lead cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advise on the full spectrum of employment matters with focus on performance management, discipline, terminations, restructurings, LOA and ADA.
• Monitor changes in employment laws; recommend policy updates.
• Oversee workplace investigations; conduct investigations personally as needed.
• Partner with HR leadership on employee lifecycle and relations matters.
• Manage responses to employee escalations and pre-litigation matters.
• Collaborate with Employment Litigation Team and outside counsel relationships.
• Develop and deliver training on employment law topics and policies.
• Drive legal research to support policy development and risk mitigation.
• Improve employment processes and compliance frameworks across the organization.
• Communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
