Job summary

Iteris, Inc. seeks a Sr. Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and commercialization of hardware management software and services, including VantageLink and VantageCare, covering device monitoring, remote configuration, diagnostics, OTA updates, and lifecycle service tiers.

Onsite work is required at Austin, Irvine, or Santa Ana. You will align hardware and software roadmaps, drive cross-functional initiatives with Engineering, Sales, and Operations, and ensure the platform is secure,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, information systems or related field.
MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record.
Strong understanding of IoT, sensors, connectivity, cloud platforms, and data analytics.
Experience with transportation tech; knowledge of computer vision/AI is a plus.
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration with customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Own strategy, roadmap, and requirements for device monitoring, configuration, diagnostics, health reporting, alerts, and OTA updates.
Commercialize management software and service tiers; collaborate with Sales and Marketing on positioning and plans.
Drive integration requirements across device firmware, cloud services, and customer-facing tools.
Collaborate with other PMs to enable bundling and upsell across the Iteris portfolio.
Shape hardware strategy across sensors, edge compute, and connectivity for reuse and manufacturability.
Translate customer needs into platform requirements and hardware specifications.
Partner with engineering to define interfaces and software abstraction layers for multi-product reuse.
Work with operations and supply chain on component selection, cost targets, reliability, and BOM optimization.
Contribute to hardware lifecycle management (EOL/EOS) balancing innovation with minimal disruption.
Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations on certification and launch readiness.
