Job summary

JLL in Mountain View, CA seeks a Senior IoT Engineer to lead the digital buildings program, migrating legacy infrastructure to cloud-connected, centrally managed operations across a large portfolio.

You will manage asset inventories, security updates, and BMS tooling interfaces, collaborating with client and operations teams to improve efficiency and occupant comfort. Deep IT and IoT expertise and tracking in building controls are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with IT systems and building controls.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, energy monitoring and lighting systems is required.
• Ability to respond to cyber security and operational emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead a program for digital buildings across a large portfolio and migrate to cloud-connected, centrally managed operations.
• Develop framework and processes to connect site teams and stakeholders to targets.
• Identify system improvements with client and operations teams and lead implementation.
• Audit assets and licensing; ensure documentation and updates are current.
• Review maintenance contracts and optimize internal resource usage.
