Job summary

Digital Technology Solutions seeks an IoT Cloud Developer at a senior level to design, build, and support scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS. Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering cloud solutions on AWS.
• Practical knowledge of AWS IoT Core and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong TypeScript development and serverless experience.
• Familiarity with DynamoDB data modeling and high-volume workloads.
• Experience with event-driven integrations using Kinesis, SNS and S3.
• Knowledge of data ingestion and analytics with AWS Glue, Athena, QuickSight.
• Experience with Fargate and Golang is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable AWS solutions for IoT and cloud-native workloads.
• Build and maintain AWS Lambda applications in TypeScript.
• Contribute to IoT Core architectures connecting device data to backend services.
• Create and optimize DynamoDB models for high throughput event-driven workloads.
• Implement and maintain event-driven systems using Kinesis, SNS, and S3.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, and analytics with Glue, Athena, and QuickSight.
• Evaluate Fargate for longer-running services and mentor Associate Cloud Engineers.
• Monitor performance, optimize reliability and cost, and document best practices.
