Reddit, Inc. is seeking a stellar iOS engineer to build a modular video player and drive media experiences at scale. You will partner with backend media and CDN teams to optimize global delivery while collaborating across product, design, and engineering to ship innovative media features.

You will lead by example, coach peers, and apply AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping and system design, ensuring robust, scalable results for Reddit’s video ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical expertise.
• 5+ years of hands-on iOS software development experience in Swift at scale.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for on-schedule delivery.
• Excellent communication for remote collaboration with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Track record leading cross-team projects in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect a modular iOS video player for easy integration and peak performance.
