Job summary

Reddit, Inc. is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Media Foundation team, focusing on high‑performance iOS video experiences for mobile and other devices. You will collaborate with product, design, and infrastructure to ship feature-rich media experiences.

You will lead architectural work on an efficient iOS video player, optimize delivery with CDN partners, and mentor peers while applying AI-assisted prototyping and rigorous validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on iOS software development experience in Swift.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver on schedule.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record leading cross-team projects and initiatives.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with bias toward action in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect a modular iOS video player enabling other teams to build features with strong performance.
• Collaborate with backend media and CDN teams to optimize delivery and speed.
• Work cross-functionally to execute product strategy and build new media features.
