Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking an experienced iOS Mobile Developer to build a real-time on-device translation platform for DHS/ICE missions. You will own architecture, performance, and production releases of the iOS app, integrating ML models and coordinating with AWS for OTA updates.

The role requires 8+ years shipping iOS apps in Swift, deep audio processing experience, and familiarity with Core ML/ONNX/TensorFlow Lite.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of production iOS app shipping experience.
• Experience with AVAudioEngine or AudioUnit at the hardware callback level.
• Experience integrating ML or signal-processing frameworks into iOS apps.
• Proficient in memory and performance optimization on constrained devices.
• Experience with background URLSession data transfers.
• Familiar with protocol-oriented design and modular Swift packages.
• Ability to work in a federally compliant environment; security teammates available.

Responsibilities

• Own the iOS application's architecture, performance, and releases.
• Integrate on-device ML frameworks and manage their lifecycle.
• Develop real-time audio pipeline with AVAudioEngine and VAD.
• Implement background model delivery and resilient downloads.
• Enable peer-to-peer transcript sharing via MultipeerConnectivity.
• Ensure Swift concurrency safety across components.
