Job summary

TWG Group Holdings, LLC (TWG Global) is seeking a Senior iOS Software Engineer to own the native mobile experience for our agentic AI platform. You will lead iOS development end-to-end—architecture, UI, networking, on-device ML, and release management—and work with backend and AI engineers to surface agent capabilities in a polished, performant native client.

Position is onsite in Santa Monica, CA, or New York, NY, with relocation support for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of iOS development experience with Swift and production apps in the App Store.
• Deep proficiency with SwiftUI and UIKit and when to use each.
• Experience with APNs, background modes, and the full App Store release lifecycle.
• Strong networking fundamentals: URLSession, REST APIs, streaming, and auth flows.
• Experience building apps that interact with AI/LLM backends, including streaming/stateful UI.
• Solid memory management, performance profiling (Instruments), and crash analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the iOS app using Swift and SwiftUI, establishing scalable UI patterns.
• Integrate with backend AI agent services, including streaming responses and multi-step workflows.
• Implement push notifications, background refresh, and local persistence for real-time interactions.
• Own the App Store release process end-to-end: builds, certificates, provisioning, TestFlight, production releases.
• Build and maintain networking layers for authenticated API calls, streaming, retries, and offline resilience.
• Explore on-device ML capabilities (CoreML, NLContextualEmbedding, audio pipelines) to enhance UX.
• Drive code quality with unit and UI tests and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and design for polished, accessible UI that meets high standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering standards across mobile codebase.
