Syndesus, Inc. is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to own major areas of the native iOS application. You will build polished, high-performance consumer experiences using Swift and ship features rapidly with product, design, backend, and mobile teams.

This role emphasizes AI-powered development, ownership over product direction, and a remote-first, Pacific Time-aligned workflow. You should thrive in a fast-moving startup environment and care deeply about mobile UX, quality, and performance.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Deep expertise with Swift and the native iOS SDK.
• Experience shipping consumer-facing iOS applications into production.
• Experience working in startup or fast-moving product environments with significant ownership.
• Strong product instincts and attention to mobile UX, quality, and performance.
• Daily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or STEM preferred.

• Own major areas of the native iOS application.
• Build polished, high-performance consumer experiences using Swift.
• Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Mobile Engineering to rapidly ship new features.
• Define engineering best practices and influence the future direction of the iOS platform.
• Use AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot as part of your daily workflow to accelerate development and product iteration.

Skills:
