Job summary

IT Recruitment Solutions in New York is seeking a Founding Senior iOS Engineer to own the development of our first native iOS app, from project setup and architecture to shipping production features.

You will collaborate with Product and Design to create slick mobile experiences, make key architectural decisions, and drive end-to-end delivery as the mobile team scales in a fast-growing AI software company.

This role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the New York office.

Qualifications

• Proven examples of building user facing iOS applications with real production usage.

Job description

A Senior iOS Engineer is required to join a high growth technology company building a next generation AI powered software platform. This is a key hire for the business as they build and launch their first native iOS application.

You will act as the Founding iOS Engineer and own the development of the iOS application from scratch, from initial project setup and architecture through to shipping the first production experience.

You’ll work with Product and Design teams to create slick mobile experiences, developing and launching the apps from the ground up. As the first iOS Engineer, you’ll also make the key technical decisions around architecture and building out the mobile app environment as the department continues to grow.

We are looking for a Founding/Senior iOS Engineer with proven experience in the following:

• Proven examples of building user facing iOS applications with real production usage
• Deep proficiency in Swift and UIKit and/or SwiftUI
• Experience owning end-to-end development iOS applications, having developed at least one commercial customer facing app from scratch
• Having worked in the fast paced start up / scale up world preferred
• Strong customer and product centric approach
• Strong understanding of modern mobile architecture, patterns and best practices

They are offering a salary up to $280,000 plus competitive equity. The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in their New York office.
