You will partner with Product, Data, and ML to align objectives, set technical vision, and balance performance fixes with long‑term delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of industry experience, including 3+ years of engineering management experience leading complex, high‑volume consumer systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Go or Python, with strong video streaming and CDN background.
• Experience guiding cross‑platform teams (Backend and Mobile/Client) and defining SLOs/SLIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Media Foundations & Delivery team to modernize infrastructure and elevate media to a first‑class citizen.
• Drive QoS metrics like TTFF, stall/rebuffer rates, and global reliable streaming.
• Partner with infrastructure to scale media via CDNs, edge computing, and caching.
• Standardize formats from HLS/MPEG‑DASH to CMAF/MP4 and drive architectural overhauls.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and ML to maximize impact and guide technical vision.
