Twitch Interactive, Inc. is seeking an Senior iOS Engineer for Mobile Core to lead foundational iOS components and hybrid WebView strategies. You will shape performance benchmarks, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions that scale to millions of daily users.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 6+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 6+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• 6+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Swift and the iOS architectural components and ecosystem.
• 6+ years of building and shipping production iOS applications to the Apple App Store.
• A talent for building consensus around technical decisions and guiding the team along evolving architecture patterns.
• Track record of leading major architectural initiatives, migrations, or platform-level projects.
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar across teams.
• Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate development.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the technical strategy for foundational iOS components, native video playback infrastructure, and hybrid (React in WebView) frameworks
• Architect and build robust WebView infrastructure and bridges that enable seamless integration between React-based web content and native iOS functionality
• Lead performance optimization efforts for platform components used by millions of daily active users, establishing benchmarks and best practices
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to iOS engineers across multiple product teams and within Mobile Core, including onboarding and growing L4/L5 engineers
• Drive cross-organizational architectural decisions that balance developer velocity, app performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain development standards for hybrid mobile applications, influencing adoption across the mobile engineering organization
