Job summary

TEGNA Inc. is seeking a Senior iOS Developer in Knoxville to lead feature development for our native iOS news platforms. You will design, implement, and ship high-quality Swift/SwiftUI code while mentoring peers and driving performance improvements.

You will work within MVVM/Coordinator patterns on a modular system, optimize video and rendering workloads, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering to deliver reliable experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years building native iOS applications with Swift.
• Experience with Swift concurrency and UI development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship features for native iOS app using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Own significant areas of the codebase and mentor teammates.
• Write reusable, efficient code within MVVM + Coordinator architecture.
