Job summary

BCforward is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer for a 12-month contract in San Francisco, CA. The role requires hybrid onsite work with a minimum of three days per week on site starting December.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional iOS development using Swift, UIKit, and/or Objective-C.
• Proficiency with SwiftUI and core iOS frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Git and Bitbucket for version control.
• Experience with biometrics, push notifications, and camera APIs.
• Proven experience as an app developer and as a UI/UX developer on iOS.
• Must have hands-on experience using Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and prototype front-end applications for iOS.
• Translate design mockups into functional user interfaces.
• Implement front-end logic and data interactions.
• Develop screens and components by integrating back-end APIs.
• Collaborate with design to define and refine app features.
• Participate in design reviews with middleware and coordinate with business stakeholders.
• Ensure application quality and performance to specifications.
• Identify potential issues and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Fix bugs prior to release and support post-release stability.
• Maintain codebase and automation for builds and deployments.
• Design and implement application updates and new features.
• Build and maintain next-generation iOS applications aligned to platform standards.
