Job summary

Capital One is seeking an experienced Senior iOS Software Engineer to join our mobile platform. In this role, you'll develop iOS client code, collaborate across product, UX/UI, and QA teams, and help drive delivery in an agile environment.

You’ll work on the iOS and broader mobile ecosystem, including Watch and other devices, using Swift, and you'll mentor teammates while upholding engineering best practices in a hybrid NYC setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply).

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS client code solutions that deliver on Product Strategy and follow engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, QA, and Product Owners to deliver high-quality, engaging experiences.
• Participate in all agile ceremonies and help ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor junior to mid-level team members and advocate for mobile platform excellence.
• Own delivery of major components in partnership with senior engineers and Architects.
• Review pull requests to ensure adherence to Swift idioms.
