Job summary

Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior iOS Mobile Developer to advance the Mercedes app for North America. You will design, develop, and maintain iOS experiences, integrate with backend services, and work with cross-functional teams to meet business goals and NA market needs.

You will own mobile architecture across iPhone and Apple Watch, ensuring high-quality features, code quality, and collaboration with global teams. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years of native iOS development experience.
• Strong Swift coding skills.
• Understanding of MVP, MVVM, VIPER architectures.
• Experience with async/await, Dispatch, and Combine.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain iOS features for the Mercedes me connect app serving North American customers.
• Lead iOS feature implementation architecture and strategy.
• Develop Connected Car experiences integrating mobile app with backend and vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and backend teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Ensure performance, quality, security, and responsiveness across devices including wearables.
• Participate in Scrum refinement and estimation sessions.
