Job summary

Roku, Inc. is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to design and enhance mobile apps using Swift, UIKit and SwiftUI. You will run tests, release features, and monitor performance with Crashlytics and Analytics.

Collaborating with product, UX, and release teams, you’ll craft robust modules, review architecture, and fix issues while shaping the user experience across Roku’s mobile offerings. The role requires 5 years of progressive iOS experience, a CS-related degree, and strong debugging and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or related field.
5 years of progressive experience in the position or a related occupation.
3+ years designing and building advanced iOS apps using Swift.
Experience with UIKit and SwiftUI for complex UI.
Experience monitoring performance with Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics.
Troubleshooting and debugging iOS apps; writing UITests with XCUITest and Appium.
Creating feature modules with CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager to reuse across apps.

Responsibilities

Develop, create, and modify mobile applications.
Develop new features, run A/B tests, configure devices, release to production, and monitor analytics.
Improve products based on customer needs and deliver great UX.
Collaborate with engineers, product, UI design, and release teams on app development.
Manage state across the app and model side effects.
Modularize features for easier testing and distribution.
