Job summary

Office Hours is hiring its first dedicated iOS engineer to own the mobile app end‑to‑end, from architecture to delivery. You will partner with product and design to ship a world‑class iOS experience, leveraging AI coding tools to prototype and iterate rapidly while maintaining high craft.

You will influence foundational decisions and help grow the mobile team, with remote or hybrid options from the San Francisco Bay Area or other US locations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building and shipping consumer iOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI.
• Strong sense for product and polished UX; attention to interaction details.
• Ability to own architecture decisions early and evolve the codebase as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape our iOS app end to end: architecture, state, navigation, offline, and App Store delivery.
• Design and build polished, high-craft user experiences in Swift/SwiftUI with design/product teams.
• Make foundational technical decisions early and re-architect where needed to scale the app.
• Use AI coding tools to prototype and ship quickly while maintaining craft.
• Partner with product and design leadership to push early versions to production.
• Help establish standards, tooling, and practices for mobile as the team grows.
