Job summary

Aura Home, Inc. is seeking an experienced iOS engineer to join our Product Engineering team in a hybrid Objective-C/Swift environment. You will own features from design to production, collaborating with designers and product managers to deliver delightful UI for our photo-sharing frames.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of native iOS development, startup experience, and a focus on user experience. This role is based in NYC or San Francisco with a hybrid office schedule 3–5 days a week.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of native iOS development experience.
• Recent startup experience preferred.
• Proficiency in a hybrid Objective-C and Swift codebase (UIKit/SwiftUI).
• Deep familiarity with iOS technologies and trends.
• Strong track record building world‑class UI on iOS.

Responsibilities

• Own projects from first line of code to production and monitoring.
• Develop new features and fix bugs in the iOS app.
• Maintain/build experiments, tests, and QA processes.
• Collaborate with designers and product managers on new features.
• Review code on GitHub and participate in design discussions.
• Organize weekly tasks with self‑management and transparency.
• Participate in sprint rituals and team meetings.
