Job summary

Adobe in San Francisco is hiring an iOS Engineer to help shape our flagship mobile app. You will design, build, and maintain user-facing features while collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver seamless experiences.

You will work on Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, and C++, integrate RESTful APIs, review code, define roadmap with the team, and advocate for stable architectures. The role demands autonomy, strong debugging, and a solid understanding of MVC/MVVM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering, mobile focus.
• Proficient in Swift and Objective-C, with SwiftUI experience.
• Familiar with C++ or eager to learn.
• Strong understanding of UIKit, Cocoa Touch, and Xcode.
• Agile, autonomous with ownership in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Git/GitHub in team development.
• REST and/or GraphQL API integration experience.
• Proficient debugging using Instruments.
• Solid grasp of MVC/MVVM, OO design patterns.
• Excellent collaboration across Product, Design and Eng.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C/C++, and RESTful APIs.
• Design and implement large user-facing features while contributing to overall software architecture.
• Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Collaborate to define the product roadmap and assess new platform technologies.
• Recommend improvements to app architecture, testing processes, and service integrations.
