Job summary

Valar Atomics, based in Torrance, CA, is seeking a Senior Manager, Investor Relations and Corporate Development. This onsite role partners with the CEO and executive team to shape strategy, finance, and investor communications for a first-of-a-kind nuclear project.

You will map markets, build valuation models, manage diligence, and lead the investor relations program, including updates, data room, and board materials, with regular travel to Utah and partner sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
• Experience supporting transactions end-to-end (M&A, joint ventures, project finance, off-take or private capital raises).
• Advanced financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
• Able to produce executive, board, and investor-ready materials.
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication.
• Ability to operate in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive corporate development from market mapping to prioritization.
• Evaluate partnerships, JVs, project finance, and acquisitions.
• Build valuation, returns, and deal models.
• Support due diligence and coordinate internal/external teams.
• Own investor relations, including updates and data room.
• Prepare investment memos and board materials.
• Lead market intelligence and fundraising efforts.
